​The General Secretariat of Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees (GSTC) entered into an E-Linking Agreement (ELA) with the Public Prosecution (PP) on Thursday, 14/08/1443 H corresponding to 17/03/2022 G with a view of promoting joint cooperation in the field of determining the mechanisms and standards for e-governance of customs cases procedures and facilitating the resolution.

ELA was signed in presence of the Assistant Public Prosecutor, Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Zahrani, and Secretary-General of Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees, Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Alsuhaibani, at the PP's headquarters in Riyadh.

ELA is signed in the light of the common framework and the joint cooperation between the two parties concerning the provision of e-services and governance of customs cases procedures to facilitate the resolution. In addition, ELA would contribute to providing a set of e-services, foremost among them the services relating to litigation procedures and case file management as well as automation of the filing procedures.

This is driven by the keenness of GSTC and PP to commit to the integration principle that would organize the implementation of e-services for both parties and provide the necessary support, which would have a positive impact on facilitating the litigation and governance of procedures.​
