Tax Committees issue +10,000 Decisions until Mid-2021

As part of the efficient and effective management of tax violations and disputes and to facilitate the litigation, GSTC has exerted efforts to facilitate procedures for submitting cases, resulting in (+10,000) decisions since the work commencement in January 2020 G. The decisions issued after the application of Remote Litigation Service represent (95%) of the total decisions issued. The service aims to save time and effort, and speed up the litigation process. The committees also issued (+15,000) minutes during their (+3,500) sessions.

 

Furthermore, the service of verifying the identity of the attendees and documenting the sessions minutes and decisions, through technical integration with the relevant systems, has enabled Tax Committees and parties to hold online sessions through video communication with the committees considering the application of precautionary measures by applying the legal requirements without the need for field presence. The remote session system is characterized by ease of use.

GSTC, in turn, adopts the principle of enhancing the case parties' confidence and increasing the operational efficiency by automating all procedures through the Website (www.gstc.gov.sa).
